This is an advanced five week course for writers who already have some experience writing autofiction (non-fiction writers wishing to incorporate lived experiences into their writing and likewise for literary fiction writers and poets wanting to open up and bring more of their own life stories onto the page.) It’s particularly aimed at those with a specific autofiction project in mind or already underway.

The Craft of Fiction will cover a mixture of creative exercises and explorations of elements of craft, with readings, assignments, games, and discussions designed to help you hone your process and improve your fiction. We’ll start out creating new story ideas before heading into deeper literary waters, so the course is suitable for everyone from total beginners to published novelists.
