Whether you’ve got a full draft, an outline, or just an idea for a novel, this workshop will help you on your way.

Over seven weeks, we’ll be looking at process, plot, structure, characterisation, revision and talking about great beginnings, impossible middles and nailing that ending. We’ll discuss classic texts from a range of genres and boil down what makes for an effective scene. There will also be exercises aimed at your developing an outline for your novel. Along the way, Victoria will share everything she knows about the publishing industry and you’ll learn how to go about finding an agent for your work.

Alongside readings, discussion, writing exercises and homework, you’ll have the chance to develop and then pitch your novel idea in our very own “writers room”.

Places are limited. Email victoria@thereaderberlin.com to sign up.
