BOOK LAUNCH: Parallel Hells / March 4th, 2022

Join us at the Word for an evening of queer gothic horror, as we celebrate the launch of Leon Craig’s incredible collection, Parallel Hells!

Date: Friday March 4th, 2022

Time: Doors at 7pm, reading and Q&A from 8pm

Place: The Word, Willmanndamm 4

On Friday March 4th, Leon will read from her deliciously strange debut—a short story collection that has been described as “the queer horror book of your dreams” (Kirsty Logan) and “a book for anyone who likes to play in the dark” (Rowan Hisayo Buchanan). There’ll be a discussion with Jane Flett, where we’ll delve deep into themes of queer identity, love, power and the complicated nature of being human, as well as an audience Q&A.

Doors at 19:00, reading and discussion from  20:00

We’ll also have some copies available for you to buy—if you’d like one, please email jane@thereaderberlin.com.
